Prince George & Princess Charlotte Look Beyond Adorable During First Snowy Vacation

Prince William and Kate Middleton have released six intimate photographs of their first vacation in the French Alps as a family of four.

Charlotte is seen smiling broadly as she is held up by her father, with a wintry backdrop to the image.

Now a mental health campaigner, Benjamin has praised William and Kate for the efforts they are making in addressing the issue, and joined Neil to meet the royal couple and share their own experiences.

It was the first time the children ever had played in the snow, a spokeswoman from Kensington Palace said.

William and Kate have a well-known competitive streak and the Duchess was determined to win the snowball fight with the Duke.

It comes after Prince William has been accused by some newspapers of shirking royal engagements, with the Sun demanding: “Where’s Willy?” They look so in love.

The Belgian and Dutch royals have each participated in playful photocells during their recent winter getaways, and may have inadvertently inspired the Duke and Duchess to follow suit.

Beside family photos, William and Kate were photographed frolicking in the snow.

“The Duke and Duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all over the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do”, the palace said in a statement.

In this undated photo released Sunday Nov. 29, 2015, by Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, showing Princess Charlotte with her cuddly toy dog, at Anmer Hall in Sandringham, England.

Both William and Kate have enjoyed skiing since they were children and want George and Charlotte to be good at the sport too.

At 10 months old, Princess Charlotte wore a pink beanie and snow jacket, while George was not hard to miss in his bright red beanie topped with a pom.

And let’s face it – those cute photos of the family of four throwing snowballs were definitely worth the bad press.

Apple confirms event for March 21

Apple will live stream the event over the web as well as through its Apple TV app.

“In short, Apple is not some distant, disconnected third party unexpectedly and arbitrarily dragooned into helping solve a problem for which it bears no responsibility”, Justice Department lawyers wrote.

After all the original Apple Watch was launched at an event in March 2015 so this year will likely bring the first major evolution either in operating system or appearance. Hence, the rumor mill has been calling it with different names such as iPad Air 3, 9.7-inch iPad Pro and iPad Pro Mini. Replacing the iPhone 5s, it will reportedly include an updated processor, the same 8MP (rear) and 1.2MP (front) cameras as the iPhone 6, networking components from the iPhone6s, and NFC support for Apple Pay.

As for what to expect, the invitation as always tries to give a cunning hunt – and “Let us loop you in” does nothing to confirm anything in my view – but let the speculation begin! Rumor has it that Apple has been working on a new iPhone. Hence, the upcoming smartphone will be nearly the same as the iPhone 6, but only fitted into a 4-inch form factor.

Apple is also expected to reveal a smaller version of its iPad Pro tablet.

At the dedicated webpage for the event on Apple’s official website, it is stated that the keynote can be watched live on March 21 at 10:00 a.m. Last Fall, Apple updated the iPad Mini and unveiled the iPad Pro.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known to make accurate predictions about Apple products, states that the iPhone SE is likely to be similar to the iPhone 5s but with a slightly more curved 2.5D glass.

Apple shares have risen in the past two weeks as Wall Street bet the company will launch a less expensive iPhone this month to boost sales in developing countries like China. And we think its stock price has almost unlimited room to run for early in-the-know investors!

With a court hearing the next day, it’s possible Apple executives could use the forum to again comment on the battle, which they have previously said puts the privacy of millions of Americans at risk.

FBI director admits mistake was made with San Bernadino iCloud reset

The judge ruled that an order forcing Apple to unlock the phone would exceed the government’s authority under the law, and that any other interpretation of the law would likely violate the Constitution’s separation of powers.

In the debate over built-in iPhone encryption, law enforcement and the world’s second-largest cellphone-maker agreed on one point Tuesday: It’s now up to Congress to set boundaries over who can legally access digital information in criminal investigations.

The battle between Apple and federal law enforcement has come to symbolise a long struggle between technology companies and the government over privacy and national security.

The remarks were a slight change to Comey’s statement last week that ordering Apple to unlock the phone was “unlikely to be a trailblazer” for setting a precedent for other cases.

Apple doubted that law enforcement, if successful in its order, would stop at the San Bernardino case. Ken Wisnefskiof Internet marketer WebiMax on Apple vs. FBI. For more on this iPhone standoff, CCTV America’s Rachelle Akuffo interviewed Ken Wisnefski, Founder and CEO of Internet marketing firm WebiMax. It also asked the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California to reverse its order compelling the company to do so.

FBI Director James Comey and Apple chief lawyer Bruce Sewell are appearing before the House Judiciary Committee for a hearing on the encryption Tuesday afternoon.

“As attacks on our customers’ data become increasingly sophisticated, the tools we use to defend against them must get stronger too”, he said. While Comey argues that only Apple can help it hack into the phone used by San Bernardino Terrorist Syed Farook, he acknowledges that a ruling against Apple could set a precedent for other courts.

Comey said the government has not tried to access the source code for the device confiscated after the San Bernardino shootings.

Apple has since declined to cooperate in a dozen more instances in four states involving government requests to aid criminal probes by retrieving data from individual iPhones.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and tech giant Apple faced off at a congressional hearing on Tuesday over hacking into the encrypted iPhone of a terrorist killer.

Orenstein noted that the government has successfully used the All Writs Act to compel Apple to surrender information from 70 mobile devices to date.

On Monday a Federal magistrate in Brooklyn, New York denied the government access to an iPhone owned by an alleged drug dealer.

WordPress Creators Work with Facebook to Bring Support for Instant Articles

WordPress Creators Work with Facebook to Bring Support for Instant Articles

On Monday, Facebook said it would add a WordPress plugin that makes it easier to generate and publish Instant Articles from WordPress.

Facebook’s Instant Articles are near-instant loading articles which offer all of the information in an article without loading any additional scripts or content.

To develop and test the new plugin, which essentially adapts Web content for Facebook’s Instant Articles feature, Facebook has partnered with WordPress.com VIP parent company Automattic. Rather than requiring publishers to manually format each article, the plugin for WordPress users will automatically optimize stories to appear as Instant Articles.

According to Facebook, over 25% of the websites on the internet are powered by WordPress, which quite a massive number. Then, it decided to make it easier for some publishers to share their content on the platform.

Automattic is planning to release the plugin as a free option for all WordPress users in time for the broader launch of Instant Articles in April.

The plugin is now available to download from GitHub, but they have revealed that it’ll be coming to the plugin repository soon.

Apple, whose content and social initiatives take a backseat to their software and hardware, jumped into the mix when they replaced Newsstand with News.

Once the plugin is set up, making Instant Articles will be as easily as checking a box.

“We encourage all interested publishers on WordPress to review the plugin’s documentation and FAQs”, the post said. And to increase the number of publishers getting on board with Instant Articles, they have announced their own WordPress plugin to make articles Instant Articles friendly.

Considering the partnership with WordPress, the Instant Articles feature may gain a lot more ground in the near future. Publishing directly to Facebook would keep readers from visiting the site.

It will be interesting to see how Facebook’s Instant Articles play a role and how this feature really ensures that traffic and revenue get to back to the publisher.

Insurgent shelling of Aleppo kills 13 civilians

At least 13 civilians died and 40 were wounded in artillery shelling by terrorist groups at a northern residential district of Aleppo in northwestern Syria, a military source told RIA Novosti, according to Sputnik.

The al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front and Islamist group Jund al-Aqsa and others took the village of al-Ais on Monday, in the first advance of the group this year but government forces quickly launched a counter assault and pushed them out, the Britain-based monitoring group said. At least nine civilians were killed in an attack in the Kurdish quarters of Aleppo on Sunday.

Substantive talks on the Syrian peace process in the Swiss city of Geneva are due to begin no later than March 14 a spokeswoman for UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura confirmed Tuesday.

He said preparatory meetings will be held ahead of “in-depth discussions separately” which each faction.

Insurgents have been shelling the area for days despite a shaky USA and Russian-brokered cease-fire.

HNC member Riad Nassan Agha said a final decision on attending the Geneva talks would depend on issues including the degree of compliance with the truce and progress towards easing humanitarian conditions.

A spokesman and close aide of the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdo─čan, accused the YPG of providing targeting data that has allowed the Russian air force to bomb the rebels, a claim that is likely to further strain relations with the U.S., which has strongly backed the YPG, to Turkey’s consternation.

“All Syrian patriots should drop their ambitions selfish interests and unite under the only correct slogan of saving the country and the people of Syria” the participants of the meeting said. But key opposition backer Riyadh Saturday called for Assad to step down at the start of any transition.

On the sequence of events, Jubeir said: “There is a transitional body, power shifts from Assad to the transitional body, and then he goes”.

Hijab said the opposition would decide by the end of the week whether to attend the talks, which the United Nations aims to start this week.
